Cancellation Policy Update

Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to students, sponsors, tutors, and the academy. We recognise that unforeseen circumstances can sometimes prevent attendance, but we also respect the significant time and effort our tutors invest in preparing individualised lessons.

We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for all cancellations.

This allows our tutors to adjust their schedules and provides the academy with an opportunity to rebook the time slot.

In the event of an emergency, we will make every effort to reschedule the lesson at a mutually convenient time. Lessons that are not rescheduled forfeit their fee.

This policy helps us maintain a positive and productive learning environment for all members of our community.

Cancelling a Lesson

If you need to cancel a lesson, please notify the academy as soon as possible. All cancellations must be communicated via reception, not to your tutor, Chris, or Dru. You can contact us via:

A standard reminder email is sent 24 hours before every lesson and a notification 4 hours prior to the lesson commencement time.

Student/Sponsor Cancellations & Fees

Standard Cancellations (More than 24 hours' notice):

Lessons cancelled with more than 24 hours' notice will not be charged; however the lesson is expected to be rescheduled to a convenient time for both student and teacher within the quarter or is forfeit.

Late Cancellations (Less than 24 hours' notice):

If a lesson is cancelled within 24 hours the lesson is charged in full, however this will be waived if the student attends a timely make-up lesson. If you are on a Standing Order, you are entitled to take four lessons a month (4 weeks) irrespective of payment tier within the payment period whether scheduled or rebooked, in the case of a five week month the fifth lesson is free.

No-Shows:

If you do not attend a scheduled lesson without any notice or contact during lesson time, you will be charged the full lesson fee. Missing three lessons without notice will result in the student losing their allocated slot.

Tutor Cancellations

In the rare event that a tutor needs to cancel, we will make every effort to minimise disruption. The administrator will be in contact as soon as possible and will offer one of the following options:

  1. Stand-in Tutor: We will try to provide a stand-in tutor for the lesson.

  2. Reschedule: We will reschedule the lesson at a time convenient for you and the tutor.

  3. Cancellation: As a last resort, we will cancel the lesson and rebook as an extra lesson for the following week.
