Current Rate: £18 per 30 minutes
(Effective September 2026: £20 per 30 minutes)
Levels: Foundation to LCME Grade 1
The journey into musicianship begins with our exclusive Triquetrae Music Education Programme. Unlike standard beginner lessons, our proprietary system provides a holistic foundation that integrates the origins of music, rhythmic vitality, and early theoretical understanding from the very first note.
Designed to transition students seamlessly into our higher-tier academic and performance tracks, the Triquetrae system ensures that elementary learners develop correct technical habits and a genuine love for the instrument. These 30-minute sessions provide the focused, high-energy environment necessary for younger or beginning students to thrive under our expert guidance.
Intermediate Tier: Foundation & Technical Artistry
Rate: £60 per hour
Levels: LCME Grades 2–5
Our Intermediate Tier is designed for students transitioning from foundational playing to serious musicianship. At this level the focus is on developing a robust physical relationship with the instrument, ensuring technical fluidity and stylistic awareness. These sessions move beyond rote learning, integrating all aspects of music into every lesson. Whether preparing for LCME Grade examinations or personal development, students receive the pedagogical scaffolding necessary for advanced study.
Advanced Tier: Performance, Recital & Interpretive Excellence
Rate: £80 per hour
Levels: LCME Grades 6–8
The Advanced Tier caters to high-level performers refining their craft for the final graded milestones. Our specialist team performance focuses on nuanced interpretation, performance psychology, and advanced mechanics. Parallel to this, our Academic team ensures that candidates are fully prepared for the rigorous viva voce and analytical components of the LCME syllabus. This dual-focus approach ensures that our Grade 8 candidates graduate as thinking musicians with a professional-grade performance standard.
Professional Tier: Teaching Diplomas & Consultancy
Rate: £100 per hour
Levels: ALCM(TD), LLCM(TD), & Professional Training

This is a high-level academic partnership designed for the next generation of music educators.
Research Lessons: Musicology & Performance Practice
Rate: £100 per hour
Specialism: Post-Grade 8, Diploma, & Academic Musicology
Specifically designated as Research Lessons, these sessions are for students seeking a scholarly approach to music. These lessons leverage musicological research, the origins of music, and cross-subject connections to inform performance.
Unlike a standard instrumental lesson, a Research Lesson is an analytical deep-dive. It is intended for those preparing for the FLCM, university musicology modules, or performers wishing to integrate microtonal, ethnic, or historically informed perspectives into their work. This is where theory meets practice at the highest academic level.
