Dear Parents and Students,

To ensure we continue to provide the highest quality tuition while supporting our dedicated teaching team, we are updating our booking and payment policies. These changes are designed to offer you more choice in how you pay, while ensuring our tutors’ schedules remain sustainable.

1. Choose Your Tuition Plan

We now offer two distinct ways to manage your lessons based on your need for consistency versus flexibility:

  • The Discounted Monthly Plan (Best Value) (Price for 4 x 30 minutes lessons)

    • The Perk: A discounted hourly rate and 4 FREE lessons per year (on months with 5 weeks).

    • The Rates:

      • Peak: £64 pcm

      • Off-Peak: £56 pcm

      • Senior: £48 pcm

    • The Commitment: A fixed monthly payment. To maintain this rate, any missed lessons must be rescheduled within the same month.

    • Ideal for: Students committed to consistent weekly progress.

  • The Standard Flexibility Rate  (Price for 4 x 30 minutes lessons)

    • The Perk: Total flexibility. If you miss a lesson, there is no requirement to reschedule.

    • The Rates:

      • Peak: £72 pcm

      • Off-Peak: £64 pcm

      • Senior: £56 pcm

    • The Commitment: Lessons are charged at our standard rate (no 5th-week discount).

    • Ideal for: Busy schedules where rescheduling isn't always possible.

Please Note: If you are currently on the Monthly Plan but prefer not to reschedule missed sessions, your account will be transitioned to the Standard Rate to ensure our tutors are fairly compensated for their reserved time.

2. Payment Methods

All lessons must be paid for in advance (either for the upcoming week or the full month). You can now choose from the following options:

  • BACS / Standing Order (Preferred): Great for the Monthly Plan.

    • Account Name: St Mists Ltd | Sort Code: 04-06-05 | Account: 28902325

  • WixPay: We can send a secure invoice in your email which can be paid instantly by card.

  • PayPal: Send to triquetraehub@gmail.com. Please include the student’s name or TQMAS Number in the notes.

  • In-Person (Academy): We accept Cash or Card payments at the reception desk.

3. Payment Timing

To keep our focus on teaching rather than administration, we kindly ask that payments are settled as follows:

  • Monthly: Due on the 1st of each month.

  • Weekly: Paid at the end of your current lesson to secure your slot for the following week.

What happens next?

No immediate action is required if you are happy with your current arrangement and are able to reschedule missed sessions. However, if you would like to switch to the Standard Flexibility Rate or change your payment method to one of the new options above, please let us know by 1st April 2026.

Thank you for being a part of our musical community and for supporting our tutors.

Warm regards,

Dru, Chris & the Team.
