Welcome to the Triquetrae Musi-KIDS Family
A huge, warm welcome to all our new students joining the Triquetrae Musi-KIDS Programme this June! We are absolutely thrilled to have you embark on your musical adventure with us. Get ready for a journey filled with discovery, creativity, and lots of fun!
As you begin your lessons, you'll immediately be introduced to your special "friends" who will accompany you every step of the way. You'll meet a Musi-Dragon unique to the day you start your lessons, and another Musi-Dragon who represents the month you begin – a fantastic way to mark your musical beginnings! You'll also get to choose your very own Musi-Pal from a special pack, just like choosing your personal avatar for your musical quest.
You are starting your journey as a Finder, and with that, you'll receive your very first Finder Star and a red Gem. This marks the exciting start of exploring the world of music.
Your musical journey with Musi-KIDS is designed to help you grow and achieve amazing things, with exciting milestones to look forward to:
After just 3 months, you'll join the Creator team with an orange gem, where your imagination will soar!
At 6 months, you'll progress to the Grower team with a yellow gem, watching your skills blossom
By 9 months, you'll become part of the Developer team and a green gem, honing your abilities.
Reaching 12 months, you'll proudly join the Achiever team and a blue gem, celebrating all your accomplishments.
At 18 months, you'll become an Explorer and a purple gem, venturing into new musical territories.
And after 2 years, you'll become part of the Builders team and a pink gem, mastering your craft!
At this two-year mark, most students are prepared to transition to our Intermediate Programme, ready for deeper musical insights. But don't worry if you're not quite ready; we'll simply continue your journey with vibrant Orange stars, ensuring you're fully prepared before moving on.
These delightful characters aren't just for show!
You'll find our Musi-Dragons and Musi-Pals in engaging stories, on your music sheets, and integrated into different activities throughout the Academy, making your learning experience truly immersive and joyful.

Your Musical Launchpad: The Finders Journey
The "Finders" stage marks the exciting beginning of your musical exploration with the Musi-KIDS Core, spanning three months or twelve weeks of engaging music lessons. During this foundational period, our Musi-KIDs will embark on a vibrant discovery process, delving into essential music symbols, learning the language of music, exploring diverse musical styles, and enjoying the thrill of playing a wide array of wonderful music. Every activity and concept introduced in this section is crucial, as it forms the bedrock for your entire future in music making.
This is your opportunity to truly make your start in music count! As you progress through the Finders stage, you'll have the chance to earn at least 80 gems upon completing all activities, and many students earn many more, celebrating their dedication and progress!
We want every student to feel comfortable and confident in their musical journey. If you find that the instrument you've started with isn't quite the right fit for you, please don't worry. A significant portion of what you'll learn in this foundational section covers concepts applicable to all instruments, and your hard-earned gems can seamlessly transfer should you decide to explore a different instrument or even a new teacher. Remember, your happiness in learning and making music is paramount, and it is absolutely okay to ask for a change if required. Similarly, if something feels challenging or that you don’t understand, please communicate this with your teacher. Every person learns in a different hodgepodge of ways, each one unique, and only by being allowed to learn in your most effective manner can you achieve your maximum potential and become a shooting MusiSTAR yourself. They are your guide and can only help you if you let them know that something isn’t quite right. They are just as eager to get to know you as you are to get to know them, and open, honest and courteous communication ensures the best possible learning experience for everyone.
