The Magic of Music Begins Here

Time and time again, scientists tell us, 'music improves learning,' and blog posts will state, 'music makes everything better.' However, sitting at home trying to get your son or daughter to practice can often feel quite the opposite!

This guide is designed to help parents navigate the exciting journey of introducing their child to music lessons.

At Stalybridge Music Academy, potential is nurtured, and a love for music is ignited. We use extrinsic motivation through our unique Musi-Dragons, Stars, Gems, and Musi-Pals programmes to provide engagement, enthusiasm, and delight. Here, imagination is sparked, and music truly comes alive in the daydreams of our students.

With a clear pathway to understanding music, our students journey through lessons, with certificates marking their progress. Weekly "reward gems" light their path, which can be spent on trinkets and toys. Awards, rosettes and certificates, ensure their journey is celebrated and fun.
