Through our bespoke Triquetrae Music Education Programme (TMEP), we tailor every lesson path to the individual pupil, from early childhood foundation classes to specialised one-to-one adult tuition. By shifting the educational focus from traditional "copying" to "creating," TMEP ensures that students truly understand the underlying mechanics of music rather than being constrained to polishing just three pieces of music for a standard exam cycle. This innovative framework utilises an Individualised Lesson Design that is exceptionally adaptable and structurally "breathes with the student" while strictly maintaining curriculum integrity.
The programme is structured around a progressive, skill-based accumulation system consisting of 12 Levels. These levels are organised into three developmental tiers: Elementary (Levels 1–4) for establishing foundational literacy and technique, Intermediate (Levels 5–8) for developing fluency and creative independence, and Advanced (Levels 9–12) to provide professional preparation for Higher Education. Learning across these levels is comprehensively integrated through seven distinct "Zones", Find, Create, Grow, Develop, Achieve, Explore, and Build, each serving a unique purpose to transition information effectively from working to long-term memory. Within these zones, students encounter accessible skill milestones combined with a sophisticated completion system designed to reinforce weaknesses and build balanced musical strengths.
To accommodate diverse learner profiles and alleviate the pressure of traditional grading, TMEP integrates a continuous portfolio assessment structure from the elementary stages. Evaluation protocols are fully flexible and tailored to personal preferences, allowing students to choose between Continuous Assessment tracked through regular study, Periodic Assessment at key milestones, or a traditional Examination Focus. To inspire and sustain engagement, out programme features an optional immersive narrative world complete with gamification elements and connected stories, transforming the educational journey into a rewarding creative adventure.
