Welcome to the Triquetrae Music (TQ) Programme for Level 1 Rhythms. Our primary goal in this module is to build a strong and confident rhythmic foundation by mastering seven core rhythms in 2/4 time, also known as duple time. To make this process both intuitive and enjoyable, we will use a special vocalisation tool called Rhythmic Time Names, which transforms abstract note durations into simple, memorable syllables. This guide will walk you through the essential concepts and practical steps needed to internalise these patterns.
