Service Description
A person to person lesson online. A link and password will be emailed for each lesson from which you can log in via your browser. Lesson times are UK times, please be aware of this when you book your lesson. For more details please see https://www.stalybridgemusicacademy.com/post/what-to-expect-with-an-online-lessons Guitar lessons are designed for nylon string guitars, acoustic guitars and electric guitars. The music is selected for the instrument and the student. Lessons cover tab and notation reading alongside riffs, fills, licks and the knowledge to create your own music. Guitar hire is available. A thirty minute lesson is the recommend lesson length for most students. Peak time lessons include the option for a parent to learn with the young person. The lesson is directed to the young student and parents learn alongside and join in. A parent would require their own instrument, in the case of piano a keyboard would need to be brought to the lesson. All Music Academy teachers are EDBS checked and have completed an annual safe guarding course. Graded examinations for those who would like to participate and have the relevant ability. No discounted rates can be stacked. A Senior Citizen at off-peak times will be charged at £12, further reduction is not possible. Senior Citizens or Off-Peak Students who opt for the Standing Order Discount Scheme will benefit from 4 free lessons after they have completed 48 weeks of lessons. Digi-gems can be used for discount for peak time lessons booked online.
Cancellation Policy
Music Academy Stalybridge reserve the right to cancel any lesson that has not been paid at point of booking without notice. 24 hours notice is required to cancel a lesson.
